Nunsense II - The
Second Coming
Six weeks after the Little Sisters of Hoboken have staged their first benefit, they give a thank-you show for their supporters. They have no need of money now, thanks to the large cash prize that Sister Mary Amnesia has won. The show is going well. The Sisters are excited to find out there is a famous talent scout in the audience. Then chaos erupts. The Franciscans are on their way to claim Sister Mary Amnesia (and her prize money) as one of their own. Trouble mounts as the Little Sisters learn that Sister Julia, the convent cook, is in jail. Meanwhile, the Franciscans have arrived. Sister Robert Anne convinces them to take only the prize money and leave Sister Mary Amnesia. Reverend Mother goes off to deal with the Franciscans, but returns defeated. Now they want everything, including Sister Mary Amnesia. Then a bird house falls on Sister Mary Amnesia’s head – and everything changes…
Nunsense II is a fun show that features star turns, tap and ballet dancing, audience participation and comic surprises.
